For business

Funding for improving energy efficiency along with the installation of renewable energy sources for large and medium-sized enterprises.

For the first time, large enterprises have the opportunity to apply for support for investments aimed at improving energy efficiency. The program, for which the application period runs from December 1, 2023, to February 5, 2024, is implemented within the framework of the FEnIKS funds (European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment).

How profitable it is:

The total maximum grant amount for individuals who have not yet used the "My Electricity" grant can be no more than PLN 28,000 for a single Point of Energy Consumption.

For PV micro-installations applied for connection from 01.08.2024 with an energy/heat storage system (obligatory requirement):

  • PLN 7 000 for a photovoltaic installation with additional devices.
  • PLN 16 000 for an energy storage system.
  • PLN 5 000 for a heat storage system.

To receive the grant, your installation must meet specific technical requirements:

  • Comprehensive setup: Funding for PV panels will be granted only if an energy storage system (electrical or thermal) is purchased and installed.
  • PV installation capacity: From 2 kW to 20 kW.
  • Energy storage capacity: Minimum 2 kWh.
  • Heat storage capacity: Minimum 20 dm³.

All these installations must be connected to the power grid.

The current settlement model (net‑billing) rewards those who consume the electricity they produce instead of feeding it back into the grid.

  • You increase self‑consumption: With an energy storage system, you use your own electricity in the evening and at night.
  • You receive a significant return: The grant covers up to half of the equipment costs, making investment in energy storage one of the most cost‑effective solutions on the market.
  • You gain security: Your installation becomes more resilient to external grid failures.

IN SUMMARY:
  1. Application period: from 30 March 2026 to 24 April 2026.

  2. The grant is intended for individuals generating electricity for their own needs.

  3. The subsidy is awarded for installations with a capacity of 2–20 kW – for PV micro‑installations submitted for grid connection from 1 August 2024 to 31 October 2025.

  4. The amount of the grant depends on the number of purchased products; the support amounts are cumulative.
The maximum funding is PLN 28,000.

  5. A necessary condition for receiving the subsidy is settlement in the net‑billing system.

IN SUMMARY:
Program objective
02
Program objective

The aim of the program is to increase the production of electricity from photovoltaic micro‑installations and to boost the self‑consumption of the generated electricity by storing it (in electrical or thermal energy storage systems) within the territory of the Republic of Poland.

The program assumes optimal use of energy from micro‑installations by storing surplus production, which will reduce the amount of energy fed into the grid during peak load hours, help lower energy purchase costs for prosumers, and improve the stability of the power grid.

The projects must contribute to achieving the national target for the share of renewable energy in total energy consumption and production, and must ensure environmental protection and landscape preservation (which is particularly feasible when using photovoltaic micro‑installations).
